I'm a software engineering lead based in London with over a decade of professional experience. I work at LexisNexis Risk Solutions within the ICIS brand, where I currently lead a team exploring generative AI — working across agentic frameworks, MCP, A2A, RAG, and integration into existing products.

My background spans electrical engineering and software — I started with City & Guilds qualifications in electrotechnology before earning a BSc in Software Engineering from Kingston University. Day to day, I'm most at home in the .NET ecosystem, but I enjoy exploring Go, Python, and whatever new tooling catches my attention.

Outside of work, I like building small projects to learn new frameworks and technologies. Most of what you'll find on my GitHub are personal experiments and fan projects.

Why magaoidh.pro? — The surname Magee is generally linked to the Irish Gaelic Mag Aodha or Mag Aoidh, meaning “son of Aodh.” Aodh was an old personal name associated with fire, so the name carries both a family and historical connection to that older Gaelic tradition.
